Inspired by the ocean, this Gulf Coast Florida kitchen takes on a light touch with cabinetry designed in Wood-Mode’s Edgemont Recessed door style and Nordic White finish. For the matching kitchen island, a wood countertop was chosen for the seating area as it is reminiscent of the wood hulled boats just outside, while the custom-made Wood-Mode hood features a soft curve to the bottom edge to mimic the play of the ocean waves. Matching appliance and refrigerator panels create a seamless look, while one panel hides a secret walk-in pantry. Corner cabinet Integrated Lighting and Under-Cabinet Integrated Lighting is installed throughout the cabinetry. The backsplash creates movement throughout the kitchen by mimicking the colors and shapes of water through light and beachy colors.
